Contemporary Open Kitchen

This apartment kitchen was opened up from a closed galley into a full open-plan layout. We removed a partition wall, re-routed the plumbing for the new island position, and ran all fresh electrical — including wiring for the copper pendant cluster above the island.

The cabinet run along the wall is finished in a deep charcoal lacquer, contrasting with the warm stone island and worktops. The oven tower and integrated dishwasher were recessed flush into the joinery. All pipe work and cabling is fully concealed within the new walls and floor void.

The client wanted a kitchen that felt like a professional space without sacrificing warmth. The copper pendants and stone surfaces strike that balance.
